IQAC Roles and Responsibilities
Since its commencement, dYPCOEI has been a quality conscious institution in all its planning and actions. The institute has the uppermost concern and thrust towards quality education, and its motto:

- The prime responsibility of IQAC is to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education imparted in an institution or college.
IQAC Objectives:
- Establish a system for deliberate, consistent, and transformative actions to enhance the institution’s academic and administrative performance.
- Encourage initiatives that advance institutional functioning by embedding a quality culture and embedding best practices.
IQAC Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
- The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes.
- Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society.
- Optimize and integrate modern teaching and learning methods.
- Uphold the credibility of evaluation processes.
- Ensure the adequacy, proper maintenance, and efficient allocation of support structures and services.
- Facilitate the sharing of research findings and adoptive networking with institutions both within India and internationally. To keep track of the departments that are accredited by the NBA and ensure that those departments maintain the standards of the NBA.
- To complete the NBA-pre qualifier every year for the departments not accredited by the NBA and notify the principal and CDC when any department becomes eligible for accreditation.
IQAC Functions:
- Establish and implement quality benchmarks and parameters for diverse academic and administrative activities within the institution.
- Support the development of a learner-centred environment that promotes quality education and facilitates faculty growth in adopting relevant knowledge and technology for an engaging and participatory teaching-learning process.
- Arrange for feedback collection from students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding institutional processes related to quality.
- Share information on various quality parameters in higher education.
- Organize inter- and intra-institutional workshops and seminars on quality-related themes, and encourage the formation of quality circles. Document various programs and activities aimed at achieving quality improvement.
- Function as the institution’s nodal agency for coordinating quality-related initiatives, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
- Develop and maintain an institutional database using MIS to support and enhance institutional quality.
- Nurture the development of a strong Quality Culture within the institution.
- Prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with NAAC guidelines and parameters for submission to NAAC.
