Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) prescribes the academics calendar mentioning dates of commencement and conclusion of teaching along with examination schedule in every semester.
In line with SPPU academic calendar, the Institute prepares its academic calendar which also includes schedule of curricular delivery assessment, technical events, class test, midterm submission, online & In-sem examination, list of holidays and extracurricular
On the basis of Institute level calendar, Departmental activity calendar is prepared which includes Institute level activities as well as Departmental activities such as Industry visit, Project Competition, Workshops, Expert lectures, internship program etc.
Each faculty prepares the teaching plan as per the available instructional days mentioned in the academic calendar and same is uploaded on the Institute website and ERP software through which the students and higher authorities monitors adherence of course delivery as per the academic calendar.
The IQAC Coordinator, Dean Academics, AMC coordinator and Heads of the Department regularly monitor the adherence of the course delivery as per the academic calendar through various internal audits.

The adherence to academic calendar is ensured through a process as shown in Figure
