I take great pride in extending a warm welcome to you to the Engineering Science (FE) Department at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Innovation. Established in 2014, our First Year Engineering Sciences Department encompasses a range of disciplines including Computer, Civil, Mechanical, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Our faculty members are highly experienced post-graduates, and our department boasts spacious, well-equipped laboratories.

We are committed to the holistic development of our students through continuous assessment, a robust mentoring system, and career counselling. Our initiatives include industrial visits, expert guest lectures, workshops, seminars, and various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities aimed at both technical and personal growth. Soft skills are cultivated through dedicated club activities, fostering excellent coordination between faculty and students, resulting in consistently strong academic performance.
Our department provides a supportive environment aimed at establishing a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals and sciences. We emphasize bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, encouraging students to adopt an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving across major engineering disciplines. Our faculty and technical staff are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for incoming students from diverse educational backgrounds into accomplished undergraduate professionals.
